SIZE DOESN'T MATTER... THE DETAILS DO
If there’s one thing that life has thought us is that, no matter how much planning we do, there will always be an element of surprise. Needless to say that 2020 has been filled with nothing but surprises, twist and turns, and most of all uncertainties. But, the beauty side of life is that, as long as we keep fighting, we always find a way to make things work even if it means making changes to our initial plans.
Andrea and David, had plans of a large wedding with their families and closest friends at their beautiful property located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Then COVID happened, and things had to change: the date, the guest size, style of service, etc.. So, after long thoughts and careful planning, they decided to do a micro-wedding.
Only twelve other guests were in attendance which included parents, siblings, kids and closest friends. The theme was super tropical to match their beautiful tropical garden, and highlight their Caribbean heritage with Andrea from Jamaica, and David from Cuba.
When it came to the food, they wanted something different form their traditional meals. We created something that would complement their wow setting, and enhance the whole experience for their guests:
Hors d’oeuvres
Mini bruschetta cones
BBQ pulled chicken over zucchini cornbread
Seared scallops with creamy corn with baby peas, and crispy pancetta
Seared pork dumplings with teriyaki glaze
Salmon poke tacos
Main Course
Garlic crusted rack of lamb with spicy mustard and shallot sauce/seared sea bass with lemon butter
Duchesse boniato, charred brocolini, and forbidden rice
